NY METS SPECIAL MEETUP

PCC Is taking over Citi Field to see the NY Mets play the Atlanta Braves! Let's cheer on the home team and watch The Home Run Apple make some appearances. This is PCC’s first outing at a Mets game, so let's make it a memorable one!  Show up in that blue and orange and get ready to root, root for the home team and eat some peanuts and cracker jacks! The last date to buy tickets is July 10th! You don’t want to strike out on this event!

Speed-friending is officially fun!


PCC is proud to host official Speed-friending game nights!  

This structured game provides the support participants need to comfortably foster social connections and make lasting friends. It's a lively, pressure free, way for people to meet and get to know others. 

We are so excited to share our lives, likes, stories and interests with all our new friends!

Nassau Arts & Crafts spreads the Love!

Positive Community Connection's is proud to have spread some love and comfort to the children of Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital. Our crafters from Nassau Arts and Crafting and Crafting Connections did a great job making Valentines Day cards for the children in the pediatric wing. These lovely cards made the holiday just a little extra sweet! 

We encourage you to read the thank you note our members recieved from the hospital. 

A Day in Nature

Our PCC Members welcomed in the first days of spring by hiking the beautiful grounds of the Bayard Cutting Arboretum. The grounds of this historic Long Island manor is home the hundreds of species of trees and plants. Surrounded by the Connetquot River, waterfowl, turtles and the occasional happy human can be found floating around its shores!!

This was the perfect meetup to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.

PCC went Head Over Heels

Members of PCC enjoyed a theatrical experience this past weekend Sat 3/11/23 attending “Head Over Heels” at the Madison theater on the campus of Molloy College. Fun things are happening in Nassau for PCC and new members such as Carolyn are taking advantage of these cool meetups. Carolyn was spotted dancing during this musical “Head Over Heels” that featured the music of The Go-Gos and all female new wave/pop rock band front the 80s! Until the next one!

Games, Crepes and Good Times

What's better then a night with good friends, delicious crepes and gaming adventures?

Our PCC members had so much fun during our Suffolk Game Night at the Crazy Crepe Cafe in Lake Ronkonkoma. We played some of our favorite board games like Jenga, Sorry and Uno while munching on crepe creations stuffed with sweet goodness! There was big laughs during our group games as our members danced and wiggled through funny competitions and charades.
